2011 CLP Banquet

The CLP Banquet was held December 2nd at Jeff's Catering in Brewer, Maine. Everyone in attendance enjoyed a buffet style dinner and "The Magic of Conjuring Carroll". The 50/50 raffle, as always, was a great success. The proceeds go to Log-A-Load for Kids benefitting the Children's Miracle Network.

Awards were presented to outstanding loggers in the mechanical, conventional, and contractor/supervisor categories. The winners were: Andy Ward - mechanical, Milt Baston - conventional, and Raynold Blair - contractor/ supervisor. They all went home with a $1,000.00 check, a jacket and a plaque recognizing their accomplishment. These awards are sponsored yearly by Huber Resources. Congratulations to the winners!

The evening ended with the traditional door prize drawings of various safety equipment and a chainsaw. This year the winner took home a 346 Husky, valued at $550.00, that was donated by the Maine TREE Foundation. The lucky winner was Ben Voisine of Fort Kent, Maine.

Thanks to everyone that attended the banquet this year and making it a success. We look forward to seeing you again in 2012.
